Donna Carlson
Donna has been a member and an employee of Arden Hills since 1994. She began her career in fitness in the early years of dance exercise (1982). In 1995 she earned her personal training certification and a year later her spinning certification. Dealing with severe osteo-arthritis that led to a new hip in 2000 has formed her approach to fitness. She has a very conservative and long term approach to fitness.
Philosophy–
- Get the most out of the muscle with the least amount of joint stress.
- It is never too late to start an exercise program and it is always too soon to quit.
- Getting old doesn’t make you physically unfit – being physically unfit will make you old.
- No one goes to bed at night wishing they hadn’t worked out that day.
- You don’t find the time – you make the time.
