Choosing the Perfect Wedding Season
Deciding your wedding date is one of the most important parts of the wedding planning process. The time of year will have a huge impact on the entire wedding. When deciding the time of year for your wedding you should ask yourself a few essential questions: Do you want an indoor or outdoor wedding? What colors do you want in your wedding? Do you want to theme your wedding? Where do you want your wedding? Do want a day or evening wedding?
If you want a colorful wedding with more mild weather you may choose a Fall wedding. They are filled with color because of the changing of the leaves and although the weather may be a bit cooler you still have the choice of choosing an indoor or outdoor venue.
If you want a holiday themed wedding and aren’t concerned with the colder weather you may wish to choose a Winter wedding. Or, often times, winter weddings are planned as a destination wedding to somewhere warmer. Just remember that you may be limited on flower and venue choice due to the unpredictable weather in this season.
Summer weddings are a popular choice as you can choose from many different dress styles and you have more options for venues (indoor or outdoor). You can also choose from a variety of themes such as beach weddings or tropical weddings. Keep in mind that you may have to battle the heat when choosing a summer wedding.
If you want a wedding full of flowers, nice weather, and the option to choose almost any venue and any dress, a Spring wedding may be the one for you. However, just like a Fall Wedding it is important to keep in mind that although the weather is typically nice in the Spring, it can also be unpredictable.
Choose your wedding season wisely! It can have an impact on almost everything from your dress to your venue and from your colors to your flowers.
