Workout Wednesday Tip: Keep healthy food accessible and unhealthy food out of sight

By Arden Hills

Having a bowl of fruit on the counter versus a stocked cookie jar is a great way to implement healthy eating choices and habits.  It is easy to grab a treat if it is in a location that lends itself to frequent snacking.  Replace cookies and chips with fruits and almonds and you will be incorporating more vitamins and nutrients into your diet as well as encouraging your family and friends to be healthy as well.  If you have to bring some unhealthy food into your home, put it out of sight so you are not tempted to eat it.
